Perth-based Broad Construction Services has shared in $10.5 million worth of contracts awarded by the state government.
Broad has won a $4.3 million contract to build a new teaching block at Highgate Primary School.
The scope of work involves construction of two new two-storey buildings, with work expected to be completed by the end of next year.
The contract will add to Broad’s pipeline of work, which includes a recent $4 million upgrade of Kinross College.
Meanwhile, Dawn Express Partitioning & Construction has won a $3.3 million contract for fit-out and refurbishment works on the rooms of the Office of State Revenue in the QBE Building on St Georges Terrace.
The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board has awarded a $2.9 million contract to Crothers Construction for the construction of the new crematorium at the Rockingham Regional Memorial Park in Baldivis. The work also includes the construction of an ancillary office and a reception, tea preparation, and toilet facility.
