Local tech company Parkd has appointed Robert Freedman to its board, while former KPMG partner Andrea Hall has joined Automotive Holdings Group as a non-executive director and Panoramic Resources has announced the appointment of Nick Cernotta to its board.

Mr Freedman is a non-executive director with ASX-listed design and construction company SRG, and previously served as its chairman.

He is also chairman of Perth-based Highway Constructions.

Parkd chairman Bronte Howson said Mr Freedman’s experience and contacts in the global construction sector offered valuable expertise and a wide range of opportunities.

Mr Freedman said he was looking forward to working with Parkd.

"The industry is increasingly seeking innovative solutions that disrupt traditional construction methods and Parkd's technology is well positioned to benefit from the changes in the way concrete construction is delivered,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ms Hall, who currently sits on the boards of Evolution Mining, Pioneer Credit and the Insurance Commission of WA, will be appointed to the AHG board subject to ratification by shareholders at the company’s annual meeting in November.

Former Fortescue executive Mr Cernotta was appointed to Panoramic’s board earlier this week.

Mr Cernotta previously worked as chief executive of MacMahon Holdings and is currently on the board of Pilbara Minerals.
