Giles appointed to Hancock's pastoral business

Adam Giles, former chief minister of the Northern Territory, has joined Hancock Prospecting as general manager of external affairs for pastoral. Mr  Giles was NT chief minister from 2013 to 2016. He was elected to the territory parliament in 2008 after an earlier career in real estate and the public service.

Baptistcare, Braemar leadership changes

Baptistcare WA has appointed Russell Bricknell chief executive officer. Mr  Bricknell was the Sydney-based chief executive of multinational aged care education provider Aged Care Channel for five years. Before that, he was chief operating officer of Australian Home Care, following roles as general manager of Baptistcare NSW & ACT, and executive director of Churches of Christ Care in Queensland. Mr  Bricknell worked in management consulting at KPMG before his 16 years in the aged care sector. Mr  Bricknell begins at Baptistcare in April.

Baptistcare interim chief executive Wayne Belcher has left the organisation after being named as the new chief executive of Braemar Presbyterian Care. Mr  Belcher stepped into the interim role in July last year, and will now be replaced by chair Gary McGrechan. Mr  Belcher was chief executive of Bethanie Group from 1993 to 2010. He takes up the role at Braemar in March, succeeding Glenn Muskett, who retires after almost 17 years in the position.

 

Cable to lead ICRG

Welshpool-based Indigenous Construction Resource Group has confirmed Shane Cable as its permanent chief executive. Mr  Cable has been acting in the role for four months after the surprise departure of former CEO Jeff McGlinn. He has more than 25 years’ commercial experience, including as ICRG’s chief operating officer.
