Jonathan Murray has been appointed as a non-executive director of Vietnam Industrial Investments. Mr Murray is a partner at Steinepreis Paganin, and a non-executive director of Peak Resources and Hannans Reward. He has previously served as a director of Highfield Resources, Lemur Resources and Nemex Resources.

 

Clare Madelin has been appointed as chief financial officer and joint company secretary of Tech Mpire. Fiona Muir has elected to take a period of extended leave from her position as chief financial officer. However, Ms Muir will continue in her role as joint company secretary of the company.

 

Mark Skiffington and Luke Matthews have been appointed as non-executive directors of Riedel Resources. Mr Skiffington and Mr Matthews are major shareholders of Riedel. Further to the Board re-structure, Ian Tchacos has stepped down as chairman of the company and Jeffrey Moore has replaced Mr Tchacos in the role of executive chairman.

 

Mark Savich has resigned as a non-executive director and chairman of Regal Resources to be able to focus on his on-going responsibilities as CEO of Agrimin. Mr Savich had served at Regal since his appointment in July 2014.

 

Michael Atkins and Stephen Stone have been appointed as director of Castle Minerals. Prior to this, Mr Atkins was chairman of Azumah Resources and Mr Stone served as managing director of Azumah. In addition, Ian Hobson has been appointed as a director and company secretary.

 

Tim Manners has resigned from his position as non-executive director of Primary Gold, effective January 31, 2016. Mr Manners has been serving the company since the past 5 years.

 

Robert Kucera has been appointed as independent chairman of MCS Services. Mr Kucera has 34 years of experience in Western Australia’s police force, and has served two terms in Parliament of WA as a labour and independent member. He is a long-standing board member, member and a past and present patron many community, volunteer and sporting group associations such as the West Coast Eagles Football Club, the Western Force Rugby Union Club, Football West (Soccer), Basketball WA, and the Fremantle Sailing Club.

 

Allan Drake-Brockman has been appointed as chairman of the advisory board of TikForce. He was formerly managing partner of DLA Piper’s Perth Office. In addition, Grant Thomas and Paul Syme have been appointed members of the advisory board. Mr Grant is the current general manager (WA) for AWX and has previously served as a regional manager at Skilled Group. Mr Syme is the current managing director of Portland Broome Organisational Consultants and has worked in senior roles at Beilby Consulting and as general manager WA for Talent2 International.

 

Peter Barker has been appointed as new chief financial officer of Cardno. Mr Barker has held significant roles at firms such as Computershare, BHP Billiton, and Cisco Systems.

 

Piers Lewis has resigned from his position as director and company secretary of Shaw River Manganese.

 

Greg Watson has tendered his resignation as group general counsel and company secretary of Metcash, effective January 31, 2016. Mr Watson has been serving the company since 11 years. The current chief financial officer Brad Soller will act as company secretary till the time a permanent company secretary is appointed.

 

Peter Woodman has resigned as non-executive director of Equatorial Resources.

 

Julian Stephens has been appointed as a non-executive director of Sovereign Metals. Mr Stephens has experience in the resources sector having spent over 20 years in board, executive management, and senior operational and economic geology research roles for a number of companies. Peter Woodman has resigned as non-executive director of the company.

 

Matthew Foy has been appointed as company secretary of Emergent Resources. Mr Foy is an active member of the WA State Governance Council of Governance Institute Australia (GIA). He was previously a senior adviser at ASX, and is currently company secretary to several companies. Patrick Burke has stepped down as company secretary of the company.

 

David Kelly has been appointed as a non-executive director of Predictive Discovery. Mr Kelly is currently also a non-executive director of Renaissance Minerals.
