Keith Gordon has been appointed non-executive director of Ausdrill. Mr  Gordon has extensive experience across mining services, mining, retail, manufacturing, chemicals, energy and agriculture sectors. He is appointed as a representative of Barminco, which was recently acquired by Ausdrill.

Denis Criddle has retired from the board of Decmil, having founded the company in 1978 and serving on the board since 2007.

IMF Bentham has appointed Christine Feldmanis as non-executive director following the retirement of Wendy McCarthy who has been on the board since 2013. Ms  Feldmanis has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, in listed and unlisted financial product markets. IMF has also appointed Stuart Mitchell as chief financial officer, commencing on November 12, as Julia Yetsenga transitions from chief financial officer to global fund financial manager. Mr  Mitchell is a qualified lawyer, Chartered Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary with over 20 years of commercial experience in the Australian financial services sector.

Sarah Wilson has replaced Andrew Metcalfe as company secretary of Kopore Metals. Ms  Wilson has over 8 years of experience in company secretarial, corporate advisory and corporate governance roles, and is a corporate advisor of Evolution Corporate Services.

Former iinet founder and entrepreneur Michael Malone is the new non-executive chair of Sky and Space Global. Brett Mitchell has stepped down as non-executive director and incumbent chair Peter Wall will transition to a non-executive director’s role.

Stephen Buckley has been appointed joint company secretary of Tribune Resources.

Ian Bailey, managing director of Kmart, will assume the additional responsibility of leading the Wesfarmers Department Stores division following the retirement of Guy Russo. Mr  Russo remains an advisor to Wesfarmers and the Department Stores division for the remainder of the 2019 financial year.

Following the appointment of Ferrier Hodgson as voluntary administrators of Wolf MineralsRichard Lucas has resigned as managing director, Don Newport and Nick Clarke have resigned as non-executive directors.

Transit technology company XTD has appointed Justus Wilde, Jason Byrne and Mark Niutta as non-executive directors, with Mr  Byrne also becoming interim chief executive. They replace Frank Hurley, Stuart Richardson and Quentin Gracanin who have all resigned from the board. Mr  Wilde is a digital retail executive with 20 years of experience in consultancy, technical and business leadership roles across Australia, USA, Hong Kong, China and New Zealand. Mr  Byrne has 25 years of experience building technology businesses in a wide variety of industries. Mr  Niutta has been involved in stockbroking since 1986 whilst working at the Perth Stock Exchange (now known as the ASX), and had previously been a non-executive director of XTD for 11 years.
