Emma Walczak has been appointed as joint company secretary of Tanga Resources.

 

Martin Bouwmeester has been appointed as company secretary of Orion Gold and its subsidiaries. Mr Bouwmeester replaces Kim Hogg who has resigned.

Mr Bouwmeester will also remain as the business development officer of the company. He previously held the position of company secretary for Orion Gold from September 23, 2009 until May 30, 2014. Mr Bouwmeester has 20 years of experience in the mining industry and was business development manager, chief financial officer and company secretary of Perseverance Corporation.

 

Robert Rigo has been appointed as non-executive officer of Orecorp. Mr Rigo was previously vice president -project development at Equinox Minerals. His earlier job roles include general manager –technical services for Newcrest Mining.

 

Gary Lethridge has resigned as the managing director of Talisman Mining. The company’s chief financial officer, Daniel Madden, has been appointed as acting CEO. In addition to this, Jeremy Kirkwood has been appointed to the board as non-executive chairman. Mr Kirkwood replaces Alan Senior, who has stepped down as chairman and will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

 

Andrew Haslam and Malcolm James have been appointed as non-executive directors of Vimy Resources.

Mr James replaces Aaron Hood as non-executive director of the company.

Mr Haslam currently serves as a non-executive director of BC Iron and Mr James is currently non-executive chairman of Anova Minerals and Algae.Tec.

 

Mark Rowbottam has resigned as a director of Vonex. Mr Rowbottam has been a director at the company since the past four years.

 

Vincent Qin has resigned as the managing director of RMA Energy. Mr Qin will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

 

Jeremy Whybrow has resigned as director of Greenland Minerals and Energy. Mr Whybrow was a founding director in 2006, prior to the acquisition of the Kvanefjeld Project in 2007, held the position of executive director –exploration of the company from 2007-2010 and later moved to a non-executive role in 2010.

 

Justin Tooth has assumed the position of executive chairman of Ferrum Crescent from his previous non-executive role. Evan Kirby has also joined the board of the company as a non-executive director. In addition to this, an existing non-executive director, Grant M Button has assumed the role of company secretary. Mr Button replaces Bob Hair as company secretary of Ferrum Crescent.

 

Shanker Madan has resigned as a director of Alara Resources. Mr Madan will continue his association with company providing ad hoc advice as a technical consultant. Vikas Jain has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director.

 

Ronald Currie has been appointed as a non-executive director of   Norwest Energy.

 

Daniel Crennan has resigned as a director of Wolf Petroleum.

 

Venkata R Jata has resigned as a director of Kairiki Energy.

 

Sipa Resources' non-executive director, Dalton Gooding, has retired from the company’s board. Mr Gooding has tremendously contributed to the success of Sipa Resources and its subsidiaries over the 13 years he has served as director.

Karen L Field will assume the role of senior independent director, previously held by Mr Gooding.

 

Nick E Giorgetta will retire as a director of Regis Resources effective April 29, 2016.

 

William Witham has been appointed as chief operating officer of Manhattan Corporation. Mr Witham spent the last three years with the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia.

 

Bernard Crawford has been appointed as company secretary and chief financial officer of Impact Minerals. Mr Crawford replaces Mike Jones as company secretary of the company.

 

Gregory M Vesey has been appointed as managing director and chief executive officer of Liquefied Natural Gas. Mr Vesey succeeds company’s founder Maurice Brand who will continue as an executive director.

Mr Vesey held senior executive roles in the international energy sector through a distinguished career at Chevron.
