Sam Lee has been appointed a non-executive director of Gulf Manganese Corporation. He was also appointed to the board of commissioners of PT Gulf Mangan Grup, Gulf’s Indonesian subsidiary. Mr  Lee has over 25 years of senior management experience in directorship roles throughout Australia and Asia, and is extremely well connected within the Australian and South East Asian business and government communities.

Noel Northcott and Aidan Montague have been appointed senior executives of Norwood Systems. They have both been consulting to the company for several weeks. Mr  Northcott is an experienced general manager of ICT and technology businesses and will focus on sales execution and go-to-market operations. Mr  Montague was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the Australian arm of the internet/communications giant Cisco Systems, and will focus on marketing strategy, sales conversion and lead generation.

Westoz Funds Management has appointed Tim Banfield as head of distribution and Jaime Underdown as chief operating officer. Mr  Banfield was managing director of distribution with NWQ Capital Management prior to joining Westoz, and will oversee the company's marketing and business development. Mr  Underdown had previously spent 7 years in London working for several large asset managers, and will oversee overall operations of the Manager and its investment vehicles. Current executive director Philip Rees will move to a non-executive role, and will remain on the investment committee that oversees stock selection and portfolio construction.

MEC Resources has recently restructured its board of directors. Michael Sandy will replace Hock Goh as chair, Matthew Battrick and Andrew Bald have been appointed non-executive directors. Darryl Moore, K O Yap and Heng Yu have resigned from the board. Mr  Sandy is a geologist with 40 years of experience in the resources industry, mainly in oil and gas. Mr  Battrick has 35 years of Australian and international oil and gas industry experience and has assisted MEC’s investee Advent Energy in a strategic and technical capacity since 2017. He was an alternate director for Mr  Moore on the board of MEC. Mr  Bald is a corporate advisor with a focus on equity capital markets for ASX-listed companies.

Bellevue Gold, formerly Draig Resources, has appointed chief financial officer and company secretary Michael Naylor as director following the resignation of Guy Robertson from the board.

Paige McNeil has retired as chair of Frontier Resources but will remain on the board as non-executive director. Current non-executive director Anthony Hickey will take over the role of chair.
