Board Moves July 18, 2018

After 9 years, Geoff Jones has stepped down as non-executive director of Azumah Resources due to increased executive and business commitments. The company has appointed Debra Bakker and Linton Putland to the board. Ms  Bakker has more than 25 years of experience as an international banker, deal maker and advisor to the resources industry and held various senior positions with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Standard Bank London Group, and Barclays Capital in Sydney, London, New York and Chicago. Mr  Putland is a mining professional with more than 30 years of experience in technical, operational and managerial roles centred on open-pit and underground operations covering a wide range of commodities in Australia and overseas, including several campaigns in Africa.

Empire Resources has announced the retirement of executive director Adrian Jessup and the appointments of Chris Banasik and Brett Fraser as independent non-executive directors. Mr  Banasik is a geologist with over 30 years of operating experience in Western Australia and Mr  Fraser has over 30 years of experience in the finance and securities industry as well as extensive experience in corporate, commercial and business transactions in public and private markets.
