Board Moves - Feb 5-8 2016

Aleator Energy has appointed Brydie McKee as its chief executive officer and Angus Parker as chief technology officer.

Gennady Varitsky has resigned as a director of the company. Mr Varitsky has been associated with the company since three years.

 

Gary Castledine and Neville J Bassett have been appointed to the board of WHL Energy.

Mr Castledine was a founding director and the head of corporate with Indian Ocean Capital in Perth and was subsequently director/head of corporate with full service boutique stockbroking and investment firm CPS Capital Group. He currently operates in a private advisory capacity.

Mr Bassett has been appointed joint company secretary of WHL Enrgy. He is principal director of Westar Capital.

Graham Durtanovich and Douglas Jendry have resigned from the board as a result of the aforementioned board appointments.

 

James Kelly has been appointed as a non-executive director of Cradle Resources. Mr Kelly has worked in the mining and natural resource industry for over 15 years. He previously worked at JP Morgan and Vedanta Resources.

 

Peter Hill, Gregory Channon and Denis I Rakich have been appointed as non-executive directors of Samson Oil & Gas. Mr Hill has also been appointed as chairman of the company.

Victor Rudenno, DollyAnn Craig and Neil C Fearis have resigned as directors of the company.

 

Ron Chamberlain has been appointed chief financial officer and company secretary of Vimy Resources. Mr Chamberlain has held a number of senior executive roles in the uranium industry. He was the inaugural CFO for Paladin Energy, and acting CFO and subsequently non-executive director for Extract Resources.

Mr Chamberlain replaces company’s long serving chief financial officer and company secretary Shane McBride.

 

Holly Kramer and Siobhan McKenna have been appointed as non-executive directors of Woolworths. Ms Kramer is a non-executive director of Nine Entertainment, Australia Post and AMP, and was previously group managing director/chief of marketing at Telstra.

McKenna is a non-executive director of Ten Network Holdings, Nova Entertainment, the Australian Ballet, and is a trustee of the MCG Trust. She is a former commissioner of the Australian Productivity Commission, a former chairman and board member of NBN Company, and a former partner of McKinsey & Company.

 

Michael Ruane and Simon Coxhell have been appointed as directors of Echo Resources. Dr Ruane is currently the managing director of Intermin Resources, Reward Minerals and Heartlink.

Mr Coxhell has 30 years of diverse experience encompassing all aspects of the resource sector including exploration, resource development, metallurgical considerations and mining.

Chairman Mathew Longworth and managing director Ernst Kohler have resigned from the board of Echo Resources.
