Board Moves - April 7-13 2016

Amy Fink has been appointed as company secretary of Black Mountain Resources. Ms Fink replaces Jane Flegg as company secretary.

 

Sean Shwe has resigned as chief operating officer of Kresta Holdings. Mr Shwe has been with the company for almost 8 years in a number of senior executive roles including his most recent as COO and executive director. He will stay on the board of Kresta Holdings as non-executive director.

Albert Xu has also resigned as chief information officer, a role he has filled since June 2014.

In addition to this, Brendan Cocks has resigned as chief financial officer of Kresta Holdings after 3 years with the business. Mr Cocks will continue on in his role as company secretary.

 

 

Brydie McKee and Lewis G Cross have resigned as directors of Vonex. Their resignations will take effect upon the appointment of replacement directors as nominated by the company in due course.

 

 

Matthew Bowles has resigned as a non-executive director of Alicanto Minerals. Mr Bowles will remain as a consultant to the company.

 

Philip Reese has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Manas Resources. Mr Reese has held the position of chief operating officer with the Company since July 2011. Most recently he was engaged by Sino Gold Mining as a consultant.

 

Stephanie Unwin has been appointed as non-executive chair of the board of directors at Phylogica. Ms Unwin succeeds Bruce McHarrie as chairperson of the company.

Ms Unwin has expertise in commercialisation, organisational transformation and strategic planning.

 

Kevin Baum has been appointed as chief executive officer of Palace Resources.

 

Ian Kemish has been appointed as executive general manager – public affairs & social performance, effective 16 May 2016, at Newcrest Mining. Mr Kemish joins Newcrest Mining from ExxonMobil where, for the past three years, he has held the role of senior director, Asia Pacific external affairs. Prior to this, Mr Kemish has held the roles of Australian high commissioner to Papua New Guinea; Australian ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and Switzerland; head of the international division at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and head of the South East Asia and Consular Divisions at DFAT.

 

Mark Waller has resigned as chief financial officer and company secretary of Empired, effective 2 May 2016. Mr Waller has been with the company since more than 11 years.   

David Hinton has been appointed as new chief financial officer and company secretary of Empired, effective 2 May 2016. Prior to Empired, Mr Hinton was the chief financial officer and company secretary of Amcom Telecommunications. He has previously also held a range of senior executive roles with Futuris Corporation.
