WHAT? ~ CourseGenius allows the user to create, sell, deliver and track online courses in a flexible cloud-based platform. It was created for businesses that want to train their staff and for companies that want to sell online training.

$ ~ Initially founder funded, the company has successfully raised two rounds of funding from Accelerating Commercialisation federal grants. The founders are looking to complete a Series A capital raise in 2016 to help with rapid expansion across Australia and into Asian markets.

WHO? ~ CourseGenius was co-founded by Sarah Mateljan, Lee Goldsworthy and Vincent Mateljan. The team created the platform in response to a gap they found in the eLearning market in Australia, but are now keen to take the company global.

NEWS? ~ CourseGenius is a recent rebrand from the company’s previous name – Professional Development Online. The new name is designed to better reflect the wide range of companies who use the platform for online training.
