App/Tech business of the week ~ oneVR

What ~ Working with BGC Development, oneVR has successfully developed a ‘virtual property tour’ mobile application to showcase an immersive virtual tour of its latest apartment development, Sixty Flourish in Harvest Lakes, Atwell.

OneVR also showed off its technology at the recent Business News Success and Leadership breakfast with a ‘virtual’ Bentley (as well as having two real Bentleys in the room).

Where ~ OneVR can be found on the Apple and Google Play app stores

Who ~ Becky Tunks, nee Lee, (managing director, scoping and design), Andrew Hawkins (lead technologist, programmer), Jeff Broun (director) and Branden Dekenah (director).

$ ~  OneVR was built by the same team that developed Virtualiis, a private tech startup (winners of 2015 WAITTA Startup Award), which recently attracted a seed angel funding round.

Market ~ Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are growing technology areas with billions of dollars now being invested in hardware development. VR/AR is predicted to be a 150 million dollar market by 2020 (Techcrunch).
