What? ~ Techboard provides Perth tech startups with their own ‘ASX-style’ announcements platform.

Techboard also announces fortnightly rankings, based on these announcements, social media traction, media hits and a panel of experts. Techboard can help potential investors, advisers, customers, staff and co-founders to find each other. Techboard also collects data from which it can draw useful insights into the WA startup scene.

Who? ~ Techboard  was founded by former lawyer and startup adviser Peter van Bruchem and accountant, CFO and startup adviser Rafael Kimberley-Bowen. The site was mainly built in-house, with some assistance from Visible.com.au.

$ ~ Self-funded to date. The Techboard team is seeking strategic partners to collaborate with an Australia-wide expansion.

Market? ~ The team is aiming to take the platform interstate in 2016. There are more than 10,000 companies in Australia that are potential content and data providers. There are more than 50,000 in the region with an ever growing audience of potential consumers and investors interested in startups and tech companies.
