Robert Cole

Robert (Rob) Cole is a corporate lawyer turned petroleum industry executive. His current positions include chairman of private Perth-based company GLX Holdings, which is establishing an LNG trading exchange, and chairman of the Southern Ports Authority. In 2015, he was managing director of Adelaide-based Beach Energy. Prior to that he spent nine years with Woodside Petroleum, joining as general counsel in 2006 and rising to be executive director, commercial. Before joining Woodside, Mr Cole spent more than 21 years in corporate, energy and resources law, including three years as partner in charge of the Perth office of national law firm Mallesons. He was appointed as a non-executive director at Ausdrill in July 2018.
