Western Australian epidemiologist Professor Fiona Stanley is the only Western Australian among the first group to be invited to join Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s 2020 Australia Summit. In 1990, Professor Stanley became the founding director of the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research.
