Internet service provider iiNet has signed up Marketforce as its new marketing and communications partner, replacing long-time partner Meerkats.
The company appointed Marketforce after an extensive pitch process involving four local agencies.
IiNet chief executive Michael Malone said the ISP had always intended on appointing a Western Australian advertising agency.
"We're big on supporting other West Australian businesses and Marketforce put up a strong case for why we should partner with them," Mr Malone said in a statement.
The appointment of Marketforce follows yesterday's opening of the new iiStore, underneath iiNet's Subiaco headquarters.
The iiStore gives customers the opportunity to trial iiNet products and technology, to see how it can integrate with their home.
The store was officially opened by federal Communications Minister Stephen Conroy.
