NRW subsidiary Action Drill and Blast has won a three-year, $100 million supply contract with John Holland Group in Queensland.

NRW announced today that Action would supply explosives and blasting services to John Holland at the Isaac Plains coal mine, in Queensland's Bowen Basin.

Action has been operating on the Isaac Plains project since early July.

"It is very pleasing to see Action Drill & Blast continuing to secure long-term contracts with premier organisations such as John Holland Group," NRW managing director Jules Pemberton said.

"NRW is extremely pleased with the way the Action Drill & Blast team has strengthened its position as a provider of superior drilling and blasting services."

At close of trade today, NRW shares were up nearly 1 per cent, trading at $2.18.
