Calibre wins new early works deals

Engineering and contracting company Calibre Group has announced a pair of new contract awards, for early stage works with new clients in New South Wales and Queensland.

Calibre announced today that its rail division had signed a consultancy services agreement with the Australian Rail Track Association for engineering and management of parts of the Hunter Valley rail upgrade in NSW.

The company said initial project work had commenced.

Also today, Calibre said it would act as clients engineer for the mine infrastructure and rail corridor for Adani Mining's proposed Carmichael coal mine in Queensland's Galilee Basin.

Commercial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

At 9:15AM, WST, Calibre shares were up 1 per cent, trading at 99 cents.
