WA Resources: Looking to Tomorrow Series

OverviewCEDA welcomes the leaders of some of Western Australia's flagship resources projects, including the Roy Hill iron ore mine and Prelude floating LNG, to provide an exclusive update on their progress. At the height of the WA's resources investment boom in 2011-12, more than $250 billion worth of major projects were committed to or under construction. Since then, $86 billion worth of projects have either been cancelled or delayed in WA as cost blowouts, commodity price fluctuations and volatile market conditions made many companies rethink their strategies.Leaders of WA's dynamic resources sector will provide exclusive insights into their landmark projects and provide an update on their progress.Questions to be addressed at this event include:

  • What can we expect from these projects in the coming year?
  • What challenges will need to be addressed?
  • What does success look like?
