Peter Birtles joined Super Retail Group in April 2001 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed as CEO in January 2006. Over the last eight years he has overseen the launch, reinvigoration, and acquisition of a range of brands across the Australian and New Zealand portfolio. Peter was named 2013 CEO of the Year by The Australian’s Deal Magazine and 2014 CEO of the Year by the National Retailers Association (NRA).
