Willox leaves Freehills for Mallesons

Freehills Perth practice leader Philip Willox has left the company to join rival firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques from December.

Mr Willox will join Malleson's employment and dispute resolution teams.

Mallesons managing partner, Stuart Fuller said the appointment will especially lift Mallesons' market leading reputation in the major safety and incidents sector.

"His addition to our team reflects the firm's growth in the energy and resources sector and our commitment to provide greater depth of capability to our clients in that sector," he said.

Mallesons partner-in-charge of the firm's Perth office, Beau Deleuil said he was very pleased to welcome Mr Willox to the Perth team.

"Philip is a great acquisition and we are very happy to welcome him on board," he said.
