WA jobless rate falls to 4.7%

Western Australia has emerged with the lowest unemployment rate in the country, dropping to a seasonally adjusted 4.7 per cent in April, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said.

The jobless rate fell from a downwardly revised 5 per cent recorded in March, and is the lowest rate since April 2009.
