The Varanus Island gas facility is expected to be back in full production by the end of November, ahead of the previously targeted December date, operator Apache Corporation says.
At an analysts briefing in the United States overnight, Apache managing director Tim Wall said he expects the facility to be at pre-incident production rates by the end of next month.
In early June, a pipeline explosion at the plant cut the state's gas supplies by a third and wreaked havoc with various sectors which were reliant on gas to power their operations.
Mr Wall's announcement follows an earlier than expected resumption of partial gas production in August.
The good news comes amidst calls by the state opposition for another inquiry into the explosion that investigates the regulatory processes of the plant's operation.
Premier Colin Barnett and Mines and Petroleum Norman Moore have both said they would wait until a Senate inquiry was wrapped up before committing to another investigation.
A report by the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority released earlier this month investigated the technical cause of the blast.
