Sales for vacant land remained stable over the week while unit sales experienced a marginal decline of 1 per cent. Properties listed for sale increased by 1 per cent over the week to 14,664.
Listings for units and houses increased by 1 and 2 per cent respectively during the week, while vacant land listings decreased 1 per cent. The total number of listings recorded this week is 2 per cent higher in comparison to four weeks ago but 8 per cent lower than the same time last year.
Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent decreased by 2 per cent over the week to 10,748. This is at similar levels compared to four weeks ago but remains 26 per cent higher than the same time last year.
