The overall 18 per cent decrease in sales over the week is attributed to a 15 per cent decrease in sales for houses, 21 per cent for units and 27 per cent for vacant land.
Total properties listed for sale recorded a marginal increase of 1 per cent to 14,260 this week. Listings for units and vacant land have increased 1 and 2 per cent respectively, while house listings have remained stable over the week.
The total number of listings recorded this week is 4 per cent lower than four weeks ago but is 2 per cent higher than the same time last year.
Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent increased by a marginal 1 per cent over the week to 11,328.
This is 5 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago and 32 per cent higher than the same time last year.
