Perth-based accounting firm Sygnum Financial Services is to become part of national firm Hayes Knight.
Sygnum CEO Bruce Sinclair said the decision to join Hayes Knight was a matter of preparation meeting opportunity.
"For almost 10 years Sygnum was a well respected and leading provider of accounting, tax and business advice in Perth, but we knew that it was time for us to take the next big step forward to help the company grow," said Mr Sinclair.
Mr Sinclair said that becoming part of Hayes Knight group was more than just a name change.
He said it will provide a number of exciting opportunities for clients.
Mr Sinclair said that Hayes Knight was in the fortunate position of being able to look after clients of all sizes and various sectors.
National Hayes Knight chairman Alan Green said he's happy to have the flag flying in the west.
"We were looking for a quality firm, who are proud of what they do and offer innovative and excellent services to their clients and we found them," Mr Green said.
"We did our due diligence just to make sure and it just confirmed what we knew, that this is going to a successful affiliation," he said.
Collectively the Hayes Knight group has more than 30 partners and almost 300 professional and support staff in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin and Auckland.
Hayes Knight is affiliated with the global business and legal group Morison International which has a presence in more than 60 countries.
