EON Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, formed by Western Australian business people, that provides assistance to indigenous individuals and communities, especially in WA. It aims to improve opportunities for indigenous people, particularly children, by initiating and supporting long-term programs relating to social, health, education and economic areas. EON encourages a whole-of-community commitment and provides direct assistance to communities. EON is currently involved in numerous projects, including the Diabetes Management and Care Program, an initiative of Unity of First People of Australia, which provides nutrition and physical education to school children and members of remote indigenous communities. EON has also facilitated travel opportunities for Aboriginal people living in remote communities, with children from the Djarindjin Lombadina Catholic School visiting Perth in 2005.
