FIFO workers to be hit by changes to tax law
DRAFT federal legislation to change tax rules for living-away-from-home benefits is expected to have a marked effect on eligibility and offer fewer incentives for overseas workers.
The government last week released its plans to reform fringe benefits taxes and qualification for tax relief under the living-away-from-home scheme.
