The Federal Court has dismissed an appeal by Perth-based drilling fluids firm Imdex, regarding alleged patent infringements by Coretell Pty Ltd and Mincrest Holdings, trading as Camteq.

The Federal Court’s court of appeal today handed down its judgement, upholding the findings of a trial judge in October that Camteq had not infringed on the patent of Imdex’s subsidiary Australian Mud Company with its core orientation device.
