Car sales play catch-up

LATEST vehicle sales figures compiled by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries show vehicle sales in Western Australia rose by 10 per cent in the first four months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.

In WA, 38,270 vehicles were sold during that period, while sales figures in the whole of Australia increased by 5.1 per cent, bringing the total number up to 339,219.
