Former National Australia Bank state manager Andrew Whitechurch has been appointed head of Bankwest's new products and marketing division.
Mr Whitechurch has been with NAB for the past 18 years in various senior management positions, including the past seven in Western Australia .
He has also spent four years working in New Zealand's financial services sector, including a stint as general manager for the Bank of New Zealand.
Bankwest managing director Rob De Luca said he looked forward to seeing the evolution of the lender's products and brand under his leadership.
“In his most recent position, Andrew played a pivotal role in driving a sustained period of exceptional growth for the bank's business and corporate banking operations in what has been a challenging and competitive environment,” Mr De Luca said.
“His experience, combined with his insight into the WA market made him the ideal candidate to lead our newly created products and marketing division.”
Mr Whitechurch's appointment is effective from this week.
