Sonia Tait

Based in Geraldton, Sonia Tait leads the Mid-West Gascoyne Shooting Stars Teams and is responsible for program delivery across three sites: Carnarvon, Meekatharra and Mullewa. She also manages the Shooting Stars database and reporting platform to ensure accurate information and statistics are being captured and reported. As an Indigenous woman from the North West Region of Australia, Ms Tait has extensive experience in indigenous affairs and has worked in a variety of Industries at all levels. She has a strong belief and passion in empowering young aboriginal women to be the best person they can be and to assist them in becoming the future leaders of their communities.
