Peter Young

Peter Young has been practising law since 1980, gaining extensive experience in property development law, capital raising and debt funding for property projects, corporate and commercial law, trusts, managed investment schemes, land subdivisions and strata titles, property management and leasing. He was a partner of a leading national law firm for 16 years before retiring from that partnership in 2002 to establish Young & Connell Lawyers. Mr Young holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Young is also a director and deputy chair of Western Australia's oldest not-for-profit organisation, Ngala, and a member of the management committee of Royal Perth Golf Club.
